The Advanced Resource Center for Innovation and Education (ARC) serves as a hub for advanced manufacturing education and skill development in northwestern Minnesota. Since opening in 2022, ARC has been home to the Northland Community & Technical College Mechatronics Program. Conceived by Marvin Windows and Doors, a premier manufacturer of custom wood and clad wood windows and doors founded in 1912 by George G. Marvin, ARC is committed to fostering innovation and workforce readiness in the region.

Kim Hruba, Program Manager, Advanced Resource Center for Innovation & Education (ARC)

Kim Hruba is the Program Manager of the Advanced Resource Center for Innovation & Education (ARC), dedicated to making advanced manufacturing education accessible in northwest Minnesota through collaboration with local industries and educators. In addition to her work in manufacturing, she supports robotics teams and college and career readiness activities, is a published author, and a book coach. Empowerment guides her work, as she believes in valuing every individual and meeting them where they are.

Jasmin Enns, Press Operator, Friesens Corp

Jasmin Enns is a printing press operator for Friesens Corporation in Altona, MB. She has been a machine operator at Friesens for 12 years and is currently a second-year student in the Northland Community & Technical College Mechatronics program in Warroad, Minnesota
