Developing Scientific Thinking Problem Solvers

Having trouble creating a team of problem solvers? Not sure what techniques to use? Learn the Improvement Kata routine for experimental thinking and the Coaching Kata routine for leaders to develop the improvement skills of others. Through simulation, practice both techniques and learn how to develop your own story board. Learn how to create a ‘challenge’ and how to develop a current condition and the next target condition. Practice rapid PDCA cycles (experiments) towards the target condition and the five coaching questions.

Kate Badger, Lean Facilitator

Kate Badger is a Lean Facilitator with the Canadian Manufacturer and Exporters (CME) a non-profit organization helping manufacturers grow. She has been on her Lean Journey for 10 years enthusiastically engaging through facilitation and kaizen. Her experience in manufacturing and consortia activity lend a valuable perspective as a coach, facilitator and trainer. In 2019 she received her Lean Agile Blackbelt and she continues to approach CI creatively.
