Description

This hands-on workshop shows attendees how to utilize Hoshin Kanri at the organizational level. Participants will develop a basic lean-based Kanri example and create a Lean Management System charter relevant to their organization. From there, attendees will review how samples of typical types of leading and lagging Key Process Indicators are pertinent to their business. This workshop is conducted in a break-out team format where discussion and cross-learning can occur.

Arvind Srivastava, Corporate MBB/IE

Arvind Srivastava is a Corporate MBB/IE at Accuride. Prior to Accuride, he was a process improvement consultant and supply chain professional across various industries in the US and India. Arvind is an adjunct faculty at Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago and co-author of Stat-Free Six Sigma book. He is a member of U.S. TAG to ISO/TC 176 (ISO 9001) and U.S. TAG to ISO/PC 302 (ISO 19011 guidelines). Arvind is the Director of ASQ Chicago Section and teaches at its Training Institute. He holds BS (ME) from IIT Roorkee (India), MS (IE) from NITIE Mumbai (India) and MBA from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL. Arvind is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt (Accelper Consulting), Master Business Innovator (IIT) and Quality Auditor (ASQ).
