Triple E RV is a Recreational Vehicle manufacturer with an intentional vertical integration approach.
During the tour, you will be exposed to the R&D process, cabinet cutting and assembly, sandwich (exterior box structure), electrical, the main assembly line, paint, and final finish departments. Triple E is focused on continuous flow to maintain minimal Work in Process (WIP), resulting in many unexpected opportunities while working through the challenges.
On the tour, there will be intentional stops to help gain insight into an evolving system developed to build trust, and confidence, encourage ideas, and develop problem solvers. You will be exposed to Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Quality Boards, Metrics Boards, Pass / Fail systems, Labor Balancing charts, and more. The system is designed to establish perpetual accountability built into the Standard Work of leaders.
Being a 60-year-old company, one of the greatest challenges over the last 10 years was changing from the directive leadership style of the past to a mentorship model based on serving. There is a continued focus on learning with the understanding that unlearning is a painfully slow process at times, but necessary to re-learn new things.
