Lean Supply Chain Problem Solving

Transplace
A Look Inside Transplace's Management System of Relentless Continuous Improvement

Learn fundamentals and tools to take problem solving to multiple layers of an organization and connect it to a management system. This overview will look at Transplace's use and documentation of three levels of problem-solving tools, and how it is connected to the organization's management system. Learn the key elements of problem solving and process thinking, the challenges and obstacles to driving problem solving into various cultures, why lean thinkers are hard on processes and easy on people, how instability in supply chain areas with problems can deliver failed outputs to the customer and the concept of entropy and how processes—left unchecked—will likely fall apart!
