Dimatec has started its lean journey over 20 years ago. As part of this journey, we began integrating robotics into our operations to enhance productivity and reduce lead times. This process involved identifying which processes could benefit from automation, conducting feasibility studies, selecting the appropriate robotic arms, and customizing them to meet our manufacturing needs. We will also discuss the challenges and successes associated with integrating robotic arms with existing systems, such as CNC machines and furnaces.
